The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee Chuppah Canopy

The Sarasota Jewish Federation incorporated a traditional Chuppah as a prominent feature at the entrance to The Ora event space, and is officially named the Epstein Family Chuppah Canopy.

Architectural firm Wolf Partners was tasked with designing the iconic and sculptural canopy. “The Star of David is tessellated into a hexagram on the underside of the canopy, punctured with skylights and extruded to varying depths to create the catenary shape that a traditional cloth chuppah takes”.

Mullet’s Aluminum also fabricated and installed the secondary entrance and walkway canopies.
